Fatinha Ramos
Fatinha Ramos woont en werkt in Antwerpen maar heeft haar roots in Portugal. Als grafisch-designer was het haar droom om full-time als illustrator aan de slag te zijn. Ramos houdt van uitdagende projecten en vernieuwing waar haar poëtische fantasie alle ruimte kan krijgen. Haar werk wordt gekenmerkt door warme kleuren en door een conceptuele aanpak die samen tot emotievolle illustraties leiden.
Haar illustraties wordt internationaal gewaardeerd met publicaties in diverse magazines en de toekenning van awards. Op regelmatige basis stelt ze haar werk tentoon, solo of in groep. Ze werkte reeds voor musea als het MoMa in New York en het Centre Pompidou. In de zomer van 2018 versierden haar illustraties de metershoge werfdoeken rondom het stadhuis van Antwerpen.

Fatinha Ramos maakt voor haar illustraties gebruik van mixed media. Een combinatie van digitale en analoge technieken, gebruik van Chinese inkt en diverse verfsoorten zoals olieverf en acryl. Ze tekent vooral sfeervolle beelden en haar personages hebben vaak lang haar als een verwijzing naar de wind in het Portugese Aveiro.
